We have been hearing many stories since childhood about people being possessed by spirits. A similar storyline is shown in The Taking of Deborah Logan where an old woman named Deborah Logan. 

The Taking Of Deborah Logan Plot Explained

Deborah suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. A documentary team came to Deborah and requested to shoot her journey of Alzheimer’s to see what a person with this disease goes through. At first, Deborah did not agree, but looking at her house condition, she agreed to the documentary, as she would get paid for it.

Luis was the cameraman who was filming all this. Luis noticed that Deborah’s actions were not normal and some sort of supernatural things were going on with her. Things started getting so intense that Devorah was hospitalized for her own safety.

Later it was found that Deborah was possessed by a dead person named Desjardins. Desjardins was performing an ancient demonic ritual that required sacrificing five virgin girls who recently had their first period. Performing this ritual would make him immortal for life and for this he possessed Deborah’s body to get his work done.

The storyline continues and so many twists and turns take place. Deborah’s daughter Sara and the documentary team lead Mia tried hard to stop the ritual from being completed. They even found Desjardins’s corpse and burnt it.

But the footage that was shown at the end of the movie had the tables turned.

We see that Mia and Sara burned Desjardins’s corpse to stop the demonic ritual. This made us think that things were under control and Deborah’s possession was finally over.

But soon after that, some footages were shown where we saw Deborah was considered unfit for any court trials after seeing all the crimes she has committed.

Another footage showed that Cara who was abducted by Deborah is fine and celebrating her birthday. She then looks at the camera with a creepy smile that leaves us with a cliffhanger on whether Desjardins’s ritual was successfully performed and whether Cara is under his possession now.
